Higher Ed Inflation Hits Highest Level Since 2008

The Higher Education Price Index inflation rate was 3.7% in 2017, which is the highest level since a 5% rate in 2008. The goal of the Index is to show the changes in costs that universities and colleges have to pay. With this rate a negative impact on the budget of the institutions is anticipated.
